Calling W?XSC pirate stations are quite false in nature. They're legitimate
club callsigns registered with the federal communications commission of the
united states of america.
Ex:
LOOKUP>
W3XSC
No Fault Amateur Radio Club
150 W Eaglewood Ave
Sunnyvale CA, 94085
LOOKUP> w6xsc
W6XSC
Santa Clara County OES ARC
55 Younger St Ste 450
San Jose CA, 95110
The JNOS systems in question are managed by N6MEF. His posted email on qrz
is n6mef@arrl.net. Has anyone tried to email him by chance? He may have
traveled across country to attend the annual Orlando, Fl flea market. Michael
is one of the first to speak up about dupe creations so I'm sure if he were
around he'd be on this quickly.
To continue to claim legal callsigns are pirates however takes away from any
integrity you are trying to display and makes one as less of an operator as
one who's creating dupes. As we say, 2 wrongs do not make a right.
Also, posting FBB reject.sys files are pointless for those who run JNOS,
Tnos, MFNOS, MSYS, etc. A single line entry would do for those it pertains
to.
