Anyone still find good stuff (in English) on the Shortwaves ?
My dad and I just bought PL-880 receivers.
They looked pretty cool.
As a kid, I'd listen to some of the science reporting on Shortwave.
And it seemed like a few years ago, Arnie had a ham show on Radio Cuba.
Don't know much about what's still on. I live in OK, so being stuck in the middle of the US might complicate matters.
Don't think I've seen a "Passport to World Band Radio" in a bookstore in a while either.
