Larry, check the ship log if you can. There was a radio op.. 
also a ham who worked MARS for us .  
Wish I could remember his call. 
he was one of the good guys. 
 
That was back in the days of  phone patch   - over -.

via a ship the old USS Salvor.

Hi Larry:glad to have you join us,,MMSSTV is the onlyh thing for 
slow scan (14.230) but be sure to try digital sstv, EasyPal 
( on 14.233 and 14.236 and all day on 7.173) program is free !!

Thanks and will check on this most of the navy on this ship are gone now 
but we still have one person who was a IT or radio man for short.
