Mark,

Thanks for submitting such a good explanation and solution to this
problem.  I just began the process of getting on SSTV today and hit
this problem head on and first thing.  I have the SignaLink USB also,
and I could not get it recognized.  I'll try changing the device
indentifier as you suggested.
