I just got back into HF after a long while with the desire to pursue
SSTV... MMSSTV works great except for the well documented problem of
not be able to select independent tx and rx device id's in setup.
Anyone know if this app is still being supported from a development
perspective? Would donations entice the developer to make this
enhancement?

as far as I know they have had nothing new for about 5 years (maybe
more).....

i still have not figured why you would want that anyway, i see being about
to support to radios on 2 sound cards, but why rx on one tx on the other....

Because MM-SSTV uses device ID's and you can only enter one ID for both TX
and RX. This is a problem as a soundcard may well not have the same ID for
both line-on and line-out, consider those soundcards with many inputs
(Edirol FA-66) or something like a USB microphone.

It really is important to allow users to select input / output devices
independently by name.
