This is a common question I've seen here several times...
What you need to do is go into MMSSTV, choose Setup MMSSTV, and then click on the Misc tab.
You will see a Device ID field. You will have to change this. The default of -1 or 0 is the internal computer soundcard, and causes the program not to recognize the external soundcard.
You will have to change this value to "1" or other number. You will have to experiment, but most of the time the "1" will work, sometimes it might be a "2" or "3".
"1" works for my SignaLink USB device.
BTW, the same technique is required to get MMTTY to work within Hamscope. Hamscope uses the MMTTY engine for RTTY, and you will have to also change the device number in the MMTTY file also.
