Moonbouncing is simply using the moon as a reflector.
You transmit your radio signal pointing at the moon, usually vhf and above,
and a small proportion is reflected back to earth. It can then be recieved
by any station that can see the moon. Usually high gain antennas are used
at both ends and a good low noise pre-amp at the recieve end. It used to
need a killowatt or more to do this but with advances in low noise preamps
it is now possible with much lower powers.
