Quoting:
" We have a lady cop in this one horse town,
cute as the proverbial button and anything BUT butch. Oh, before I forget
Duck Dogers, the most memorable character was Princess Our Dollar, neat
bit of symbolism... wot? " - Warren.
Amzing what you learn. I always thought it was Princess Ardala :-)
Doesn't stop me fancying Colonel Dearing, sweet and s*xy in that tight
white uniform, well worth watching with the sound down.
Talking of old movies, I am currently watching a repeat of the pilot of
Mash. I switched off to play packet but the next scene will be Major
Houlahan taking that shower. I know its not SF but pleasant all the same.
I did mention that our TV could show the whole of the entire series of
MASH which I missed. Pete VE3WBZ replied saying that some things like
Corporal Klinger's behaviour might upset some people, something I hadn't
thought of.
Curiously, the standard warning we got from TV before the film was "This
film contains scenes and language which might offend some people."
Interestimgly, as they rolled titles at the beginning, one of the actors
mentioned was Rene Auberjonois, so I scrutnised tham to find that he was
playing Father Mulcahey. In the bit I have watched so far I keep seeing
Odo from DS9. Long before his Star Trek days. Early 20s in 1969, late 50s
in DS9.
I'll post two msgs now, make a cup of tea and go back to it. CUL.
