COMMENT: Solar flaring activity is decreasing. The active region
complex at the west limb (NOAA ARs 1577, 1578, 1575, and 1583) is
disappearing behind the limb. Only NOAA AR 1577 has sunspots visible on

the solar disk. NOAA AR 1584 is rapidly decaying. Another active region

appeared from behind the east limb (returning NOAA AR 1569). We expect

flaring activity on the C-level. A proton event is nevertheless still
possible (although unlikely) due to the active region complex at/behind

the west limb. The Earth is currently inside a slow solar wind flow as

the ICME interval is over. The solar wind speed is currently around 350

km/s and the interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is around 5nT. We

expect quiet geomagnetic conditions.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 045, BASED ON 07 STATIONS.
