COMMENT: We expect solar activity to reach at least eruptive levels
(C-class flare likely), with a chance for a M class flare from NOAA AR
1589. A C4.8 flare occurred on Oct. 14, peaking at 0230 UT, in a region
currently behind the east limb, at about 15 degrees north: it was
associated with an impressive filament eruption/CME spotted by LASCO C2,
which poses no risks in terms of goemagnetic activity. We foresee
therefore quiet goemagnetic conditions for the next 48 hours.
