COMMENT: NOAA AR 1583, close to the west limb, produced an M1.3 flare
on Sept. 30, 0433 UT. While additional M flares are possible, we expect
mostly eruptive conditions (C class flares likely) for the next 48 hours.
Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be active with isolated periods
of minor storm conditions from now on and during the next 24 hours. A
weak shock signature is observed by ACE around 1000 UT (Sept. 30). The
coming hours will say if this is indeed the expected CME arrival.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 062, BASED ON 09 STATIONS.
