COMMENT: Due to the low X-ray background flux, the only sunspot group
on the Sun (NOAA AR 0998, no Catania number yet) is unlikely to produce
a C-flare. The Earth is currently inside the slow solar wind flow (speed
around 350 km/s). The interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is around
average values (3-5 nT), so we do not expect any significant geomagnetic
disturbance.
