COMMENT: Mostly quiet space weather conditions are expected for the
next 48 hours. Solar activity is likely to reach eruptive levels with
C-class flares from NOAA ARs 1542 and 1543. An isolated M class flare
from AR 1543 is possible. Three partial-halo CMEs occurred during the
last 24 hours, in conjunction with weak flaring activity from these two
active regions. They were all rather slow events (V<400 km/s), and we do
not expect any noticeable geomagnetic effect. Geomagnetic activity is
expected to be quiet for the next 48 hours.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 025, BASED ON 15 STATIONS.
