PLAIN
NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 12 Aug 2012 until 14 Aug
2012
PREDICTIONS FOR 12 Aug 2012 10CM FLUX: 117 / AP: 008
PREDICTIONS FOR 13 Aug 2012 10CM FLUX: 114 / AP: 003
PREDICTIONS FOR 14 Aug 2012 10CM FLUX: 110 / AP: 003
COMMENT: Due to decreased X-ray background flux and decay of the NOAA
AR 1540 (that produced an M1.0 flare yesterday), we expect flaring
activity only at the C-class level, most probably from NOAA ARs 1542 and
1544. The Earth is currently inside a slow (around 350 km/s) solar wind
flow with average (5-6 nT) interplanetary magnetic field magnitude. We
expect quiet geomagnetic conditions.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 063, BASED ON 12 STATIONS.
