PREDICTIONS FOR 31 Jul 2012 10CM FLUX: 138 / AP: 017
PREDICTIONS FOR 01 Aug 2012 10CM FLUX: 141 / AP: 008
PREDICTIONS FOR 02 Aug 2012 10CM FLUX: 141 / AP: 020
COMMENT: Solar activity has been at active levels during the past 24
hours, featuring one M1.1 flare from NOAA AR 11536 peaking at 15:48 UT

on July 30, and six C flares from NOAA AR 11526, 11532 and 11535.
C-level flares are expected within the next 48 hours, with a chance for

an M flare.
The geomagnetic field was at quiet to active levels (K Dourbes between

0 and 4; NOAA Kp between 2 and 4) during the past 24 hours. Quiet levels

(K Dourbes < 4) with isolated active intervals (K Dourbes = 4) are
expected for July 31 due to continued coronal hole high speed solar wind

effects. On August 1st and the first half of August 2nd, quiet
conditions will likely prevail. In the second part of August 2nd, active

periods may occur due to effects from the CME of July 28.
