PLAIN
NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 28 Jul 2012 until 30 Jul
2012
PREDICTIONS FOR 28 Jul 2012 10CM FLUX: 126 / AP: 011
PREDICTIONS FOR 29 Jul 2012 10CM FLUX: 129 / AP: 010
PREDICTIONS FOR 30 Jul 2012 10CM FLUX: 132 / AP: 005
COMMENT: An M2.7 flare peaking at 17.26UT, July 27 from NOAA AR 1532
was associated with a CME. According to STEREO B/COR2, the CME has a
speed of 300 km/s. The location of the source region, the southward
component of the CME direction and the slow speed, let us conclude that

the CME will not impact the Earth. A magnetic structure is seen in the

solar wind. The geomagnetic conditions however are quiet. Active
conditions are possible when the fast solar wind speed from the coronal

hole now located on the west side of the central meridian hits Earth.
The proton flux >10MeV is still elevated but a slow decreasing trend is

seen in the curve.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 070, BASED ON 10 STATIONS.
