COMMENT: A sunspot group still behind the solar east limb, produced a
C-flare today. More C-flares are possible. The NOAA active region 11520,
behind the west-limb, was the source of a CME early this morning. CACTus
sent out a halo CME-alert. Because of the location of the source region,
we can conclude that this is CME is not Earth directed. The proton flux
levels however, increased gradually. The geomagnetic conditions are
unsettled. An active period might occur. This is probably due to a
sector boundary crossing.
