COMMENT: Solar activity has been at eruptive levels in the past 24
hours, with two C flares produced by NOAA AR 11512, and two C flares by
NOAA AR 11513. The brightest flare was C4.2 on the GOES X ray flux
scale, and peaked at 04:52 UT on June 28. More C flares are expected
within the next 48 hours with a slight chance for an M flare, especially
from NOAA AR 11512 and 11513.
The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels (Dourbes K between 1 and 3;
NOAA Kp between 1 and 3) during the past 24 hours. Quiet levels (K
Dourbes < 4) are expected for June 28, 29 and 30.
