COMMENT: Solar activity has been at low levels during the past 24
hours, featuring only a few B flares. Flaring activity is expected to
stay at B-level.
A sector boundary crossing from negative to positive was observed
around 12h UT on May 28. The IMF has since fluctuated between 2 and 9
nT, with solar wind velocities between 350 and 420 km/s. The geomagnetic
field was at quiet levels (Dourbes K between 1 and 3; NOAA Kp between 1
and 3) during the past 24 hours. Quiet levels (K Dourbes < 4) are
expected for May 29, 30 and 31.
