COMMENT: Solar activity has been at low levels during the past 24
hours, featuring only a few B flares. Solar activity is expected to
become eruptive, with risks of C flares from AR 11490, 11492 and 11488,

and a slight chance for an isolated M flare. A >= 10 MeV proton event
started at 05:35 UT on March 27, peaked at 14 pfu at 10:45 UT and ended

at 12:35 UT on March 27.
The Earth is currently inside a slow (around 350 km/s) solar wind flow

with average (around 4 nT) interplanetary magnetic field magnitude. The

geomagnetic field was at quiet levels (Dourbes K between 0 and 3; NOAA

Kp between 0 and 1) during the past 24 hours. Quiet levels (K Dourbes <

4) are expected for May 28, 29 and 30.
