COMMENT: Solar activity has been low, with a few C-class flares. The
strongest one came still from NOAA AR 1476 over the west limb, a C2.2
flare peaking at 23:59 UT on May 18. More C-class flares are expected,
in particular from NOAA ARs 1482 and 1484 which could also produce
M-class flares. Geomagnetic conditions are quiet and expected to remain
so. A glancing blow from the CME on May 17, most likely only a shock,
can occur in the coming 24h and increase the level of geomagnetic
conditions.
