COMMENT: NOAA AR 1476 has decayed into a beta-gamma configuration and
keeps producing C-class flares, it has still potential for more powerful
events. The strongest flare was a C3.2 peaking at 16:15 UT on May 14.
NOAA AR 1483 produced small C flares also, it has a beta magnetic
configuration. More C-class flares are expected. Geomagnetic conditions
are quiet. There are indications of an ongoing glancing blow with a ICME
(from May 12) on ACE data, but the magnetic field is not strong enough
at the moment (< 10nT) to cause disturbances, this may change in the
coming hours but no major geomagnetic disturbance is expected.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 081, BASED ON 11 STATIONS.
