NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 26 Apr 2012 until 28 Apr
2012
PREDICTIONS FOR 26 Apr 2012 10CM FLUX: 120 / AP: 022
PREDICTIONS FOR 27 Apr 2012 10CM FLUX: 120 / AP: 011
PREDICTIONS FOR 28 Apr 2012 10CM FLUX: 123 / AP: 007
COMMENT: The GOES X-ray background flux decreased to B3 level. A few
C-flares were observed from NOAA AR 1460 (Cat1) and 1469 (Cat 16), the

largest one a C3.7 flare from NOAA AR 1460 at 12:15 UT on April 25. AIA

304 images show several eruptions on April 26 in NOAA AR 1462 (Cat 02),

with associated (not earth-directed) CME's observed by SOHO/LASCO and
STEREO/COR2. We expect solar conditions to remain low, with a good
chance for isolated C-class flares.
Geomagnetic conditions have been at active levels late on April 25 and

early on April 26 due to coronal hole wind stream effects. The Kp index

was at level 5 between 0:00 and 06:00 UT on April 26. We expect
unsettled to possibly active geomagnetic levels (K=4) today as the CME

of April 23 is expected to arrive. Afterwards, geomagnetic conditions
will return to quiet levels until april 30 when we expect the arrival of

a fast wind stream of a coronal hole that will cross the central
meridian later today.
