COMMENT: Solar flaring activity remains low with only B-class flares in
the past day, mainly originating from NOAA AR 11451 (no Catania number
yet). NOAA AR 11450 is growing and showing more sunspots and some
polarity mixing. An isolated C-class flare is possible from this region.
Geomagnetic conditions remain quiet. Unsettled conditions are possible
tomorrow when the high speed wind stream from a small coronal hole is
expected to arrive. A slow CME was observed in the STEREO/COR2 data
around 01:24 UT (STEREO-A) yesterday morning. This CME is directed
northwards. A glancing blow (if any) from this CME could arrive on April
6.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 047, BASED ON 05 STATIONS.
