COMMENT: Solar activity is low, with only one C flare over the last 24

hours. A few sunspots groups have appeared but they remain small.
Barring the emergence of a new significant active region, this situation

is expected to extend over at least the next 3 days. Only isolated C
flares may occur. The solar wind speed has declined further to 450 km/s

while the geomagnetic activity has decayed to quiet levels. No CME is
currently underway to the Earth. Therefore, those quiet geomagnetic
conditions should extend at least until March 22, when a possible weak

influence from a coronal hole now transiting the solar central meridian

may induce unsettled conditions.
