COMMENT: An M3.3 flare peaked at 17:46UT yesterday March 03. The flare
source was located at the East limb. STEREO B EUV images show a small
coronal dimming and EUV wave. The associated CME is not strong and
directed to the East. The plasma cloud will miss Earth. Geomagnetic
conditions are quiet to unsettled at the planetary and local (Dourbes)
level. A long stretched coronal hole in the southern hemisphere is now
at the central meridian. The chances for more C-flares are high.
M-flares are possible. We expect the geomagnetic conditions to stay at
the present level the next 48 hours.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 044, BASED ON 06 STATIONS.
