COMMENT: NOAA AR 1401 (no Catania number yet) produced an M1.0 flare
peaking at 04:41 UT this morning. The flare does not seem to be
associated with any CME or SEP event. We expect more flaring activity up
to the M-level from this active region, as well as from NOAA AR 1402 (no
Catania number yet). The Earth is currently inside a slow (430 km/s)
solar wind flow with average (around 4 nT) interplanetary magnetic field
magnitude. We expect quiet geomagnetic conditions.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 093, BASED ON 07 STATIONS.
