COMMENT: Solar activity was low, with only a few C flares. In spite of

its magnetic complexity, active region Catania#66 (NOAA11363) proved to

be rather unproductive. Still, we expect multiple C flares and a small

chance of an M flare. Over the last few days, we noted a fairly strong

CME activity originating from the far side of the Sun. This may herald
a
return of stronger activity at the East limb on the second half of this

week. The solar wind speed is low, with corresponding quiet geomagnetic

conditions. Such conditions are expected to continue over the 3-day
forecast period.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 097, BASED ON 10 STATIONS.
