NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 24 Nov 2011 until 26 Nov
2011
PREDICTIONS FOR 24 Nov 2011 10CM FLUX: 138 / AP: 006
PREDICTIONS FOR 25 Nov 2011 10CM FLUX: 136 / AP: 011
PREDICTIONS FOR 26 Nov 2011 10CM FLUX: 134 / AP: 004
COMMENT: Solar activity is expected to remain at the C-class level,
mainly due to Catania sunspot groups 55, 58 and 59 (NOAA ARs 1357, 1356

and 1358), as well as to a newly emerging unnumbered active region in
the north-western quadrant. Chances for an M-class flare are low. The
Earth is currently inside a slow (around 380 km/s) solar wind flow with

average (around 5 nT) interplanetary magnetic field magnitude. We expect

quiet geomagnetic conditions in the coming 24 hours. The shock wave
driven by the partial halo CME observed on November 22 may arrive at the

Earth on November 25-26, although only active geomagnetic conditions may

be expected at most.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 082, BASED ON 05 STATIONS.
