COMMENT: Catania sunspot group 58 (NOAA AR 1356) produced numerous
C-class flares during the past 24 hours. More C-class flares are
expected from this active region, with a small chance for an M-class
flare. Catania sunspot group 59 (NOAA AR 1358) has appeared from behind

the east limb and may produce C-class flares as well. The earth is
currently inside the slow (around 380 km/s) solar wind flow with
slightly elevated (7 nT) interplanetary magnetic field magnitude. Due to

low solar wind speed, we expect quiet geomagnetic conditions in the
coming 24 hours. The shock wave driven by the partial halo CME observed

on November 22 may arrive at the Earth on November 25-26, although at
most active geomagnetic conditions may be expected.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 095, BASED ON 06 STATIONS.
