PREDICTIONS FOR 11 Nov 2011 10CM FLUX: 172 / AP: 003
PREDICTIONS FOR 12 Nov 2011 10CM FLUX: 168 / AP: 030
PREDICTIONS FOR 13 Nov 2011 10CM FLUX: 160 / AP: 008
COMMENT: Solar activity is expected to remain at eruptive levels with
chances for C flares from NOAA ARs 1339, 1344 and 1345. A C4.2 flare
occurred on Nov. 11 at 0705 UT (peak time) in AR 1344. A CME was
observed by LASCO and COR2-A coronagraphs, but it is unlikely to be
geoeffective. Geomagnetic activity is expected to reach minor storm
conditions by Nov. 12. when the halo CME of Nov. 9 arrives at Earth.
Current solar wind conditions are rather quiet, despite a small shock
signature observed early on Nov. 11th.
