PREDICTIONS FOR 29 Oct 2011 10CM FLUX: 130 / AP: 006
PREDICTIONS FOR 30 Oct 2011 10CM FLUX: 128 / AP: 038

COMMENT: The Sun has produced five small C-flares in the last 24 hours.

Three of them occurred in NOAA AR 11324 (which has seen some new flux
emergence), one in NOAA AR 11333, and the other one in NOAA AR 11325.
C-flares are probable within the next 48 hours, with a slight chance for

an M-flare, especially from NOAA regions 11330, 11324 and 11333.

An Earth-directed partial halo CME was observed by LASCO C2 around 12h

UT on October 27. LASCO C2 also detected a CME at 21:24 UT on October
28, which could deliver a glancing blow to the Earth on October 30.
October 30 is expected to see the combined arrival of the CME first
observed by LASCO C2 on October 26 around 10h UT, and the two CMEs
listed above. Quiet geomagnetic conditions are likely for October 29.
Active geomagnetic conditions are possible on October 30 up till the
first half of October 31, with a good chance for a minor geomagnetic
storm in the second half of October 30. The geomagnetic field will
probably return to quiet levels in the second half of October 31.
