COMMENT: Solar activity is low, having produced no C-flares during the
last 24 hours. C-flares are possible within the next 48 hours, with a
slight chance for an M-flare, especially from NOAA region 11330. A
partial halo CME was observed by LASCO on October 26 around 10h UT,
linked to a C1.3 flare. COR2 A and B imagery suggest that this CME will
hit the Earth, probably on October 30. Geomagnetic activity is quiet,
and is expected to remain quiet in the second half of October 27. From
October 28 onwards, active geomagnetic conditions are possible due to a
recurrent coronal hole high speed stream.
