PREDICTIONS FOR 24 Oct 2011 10CM FLUX: 154 / AP: 016
PREDICTIONS FOR 25 Oct 2011 10CM FLUX: 152 / AP: 037
PREDICTIONS FOR 26 Oct 2011 10CM FLUX: 150 / AP: 013
COMMENT: Solar activity is eruptive, and is expected to stay at this
level (C-class flares) with a small chance for an M-class flare. NOAA
Regions 11324 and 11330 are the most likely sources of flare activity.

The proton flux observed by GOES (>10 MeV) reached the proton event
threshold for a brief period around 15:00 UT on October 23, and has
since decreased slowly. This increase was linked to the M1.3 flare of
October 22, which occurred near the west limb.
A shock signature was observed in the ACE solar wind data around 23:20

UT on October 23, and was probably caused by a glancing blow from a CME.

Due to the expected arrival of the CME from October 22, 02:00 UT,
geomagnetic conditions are expected to reach active levels on October
25, with a chance for a minor storm. Quiet geomagnetic conditions are
expected afterwards.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 083, BASED ON 11 STATIONS.
