NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 23 Oct 2011 until 25 Oct
2011
PREDICTIONS FOR 23 Oct 2011 10CM FLUX: 160 / AP: 006
PREDICTIONS FOR 24 Oct 2011 10CM FLUX: 162 / AP: 017
PREDICTIONS FOR 25 Oct 2011 10CM FLUX: 166 / AP: 011
COMMENT: Solar activity is expected to reach eruptive levels (C-class
flares) with a small chance for M class flares. The proton flux observed

by GOES (>10 MeV) is higher than usual but did not reach the threshold

for a proton event per se. This increase is linked to the M1.3 flare of

Oct. 22, which occurred near the west limb. Geomagnetic activity is
expected to be active by the end of Oct. 24th, when the CME of Oct. 22,

linked to a filament eruption reaches the Earth.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 082, BASED ON 13 STATIONS.
