COMMENT: Solar activity is expected to be eruptive with risks of
C-class flares from NOAA ARs 1319 and 1324. There is also a slight risk
of M class flares from the very same regions. A M1.6 flare occurred on
Oct. 20th, peaking at 03:25 UT, behind the west limb. It was associated
with a CME observed by the COR2 A coronograph. No geomagnetic effect is
expected from this event. Geomagnetic activity is therefore expected to
be very low for the next 48 hours.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 121, BASED ON 12 STATIONS.
