NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 16 Oct 2011 until 18 Oct
2011
PREDICTIONS FOR 16 Oct 2011 10CM FLUX: 138 / AP: 010
PREDICTIONS FOR 17 Oct 2011 10CM FLUX: 139 / AP: 012
PREDICTIONS FOR 18 Oct 2011 10CM FLUX: 138 / AP: 007
COMMENT: Solar activity has continued to show only C-class flares, with

a C5 being the strongest one, from NOAA AR 1319 (Catania 7) peaking at

14:13 UT on October 15. M-class flares remain possible but unlikely. The

solar wind stream coming from a coronal hole has only reached mild
speeds (500km/s) and magnetic fields (<10nT) so its geomagnetic effect

has only created unsettled conditions, the Earth is still under its
influence so we can still expect more disturbed periods in the coming
24h.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 106, BASED ON 10 STATIONS.
