COMMENT: Solar activity has become low, with only C flares from active

region Catania#82 (NOAA1302), which is now passing central meridian.
This active region is stable and can still produce M-class flares, with

a slight chance of an X flare. The geomagnetic activity is currently at

unsettled to active levels in the wake of yesterday's CME disturbance.

Later today Sept.28 (UT), there is a chance for another CME reaching the

Earth (event associated with an M flare early on Sept.25). This would be

a glancing event with lower impact than the previous CME of Sept.26. We

thus predict a possible active to minor geo-storm period over the next

12 hours, followed by a return to quiet to unsettled conditions.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 069, BASED ON 15 STATIONS.
