COMMENT: The solar activity continues with C-class flaring from several

active regions. The two most prominent events during the past 24h were
a
C6.9 flare peaking at 15:41 UT yesterday in Catania 80 (NOAA AR 1301)
and a C9.5 flare with peak time 05:13 UT this morning in Catania 74
(NOAA AR 1296). A type III radio burst was observed in Humain this
morning, associated with a C2.0 flare occurring in Catania 80 and
peaking at 06h56. None of these events were associated with a clear CME

in SOHO or STEREO images. The SOHO/LASCO data however show a multitude

of CME's, but these are events occurring on the far side of the Sun.

Quiet geomagnetic conditions are expected to continue throughout the
next days.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 081, BASED ON 09 STATIONS.
