COMMENT: Solar activity stayed high after the M3.2 flare of September 4

at 1145 UT (peak time), which was caused by NOAA AR 11286. Today, two
more M flares originated from the same region: an M1.6 flare at 0428 UT

and an M1.2 flare at 0758 UT (both are peak times). More M flares are
possible, especially from NOAA AR 11282, 11286 and 11287, with risks for

proton events. Geomagnetic conditions are quiet so far, and are expected

to remain such for the next 48 hours.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 074, BASED ON 18 STATIONS.
