NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 30 Jul 2011 until 01 Aug
2011
PREDICTIONS FOR 30 Jul 2011 10CM FLUX: 112 / AP: 007
PREDICTIONS FOR 31 Jul 2011 10CM FLUX: 114 / AP: 017
PREDICTIONS FOR 01 Aug 2011 10CM FLUX: 116 / AP: 007
COMMENT: NOAA AR 1261 (Catania 44) produced an M9.3 flare peaking at
02:09 UT, no CME was associated with this flare. Additionally, ARs 1260,
1261 and 1263 have produced numerous C-class flares and have potential
for M-class ones. Geomagnetic activity has been quiet to unsettled
levels as the solar wind speed is increasing (~450 km/s) with relatively
high magnetic fields (~10nT) that could be marking the arrival of the
expected fast speed stream.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 060, BASED ON 07 STATIONS.
