PREDICTIONS FOR 28 Jul 2011 10CM FLUX: 098 / AP: 006
PREDICTIONS FOR 29 Jul 2011 10CM FLUX: 099 / AP: 007
PREDICTIONS FOR 30 Jul 2011 10CM FLUX: 102 / AP: 011
COMMENT: NOAA AR 1260 (Catania 43) has produced an M1.1 flare peaking
at 16:07 Ut on July 27, and numerous C-class flares. This region will
produce more C-class and possibly M-class flares. NOAA AR 1261 and 1262

(Catania 44 and 41) could also produce flares, even though they have
been quiet up to now. The CME reported yesterday, erupting at 06:24 UT,

is directed to the northeast and not expected to affect the Earth.
Possibly associated with the M1.1 flare, there was a filament eruption

close to central meridian but there are no signs of a CME in the data.

Geomagnetic conditions are quiet and expected to remain so, barring the

arrival of the fast stream from the northern coronal hole (expected in

24 to 48 hours).

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 066, BASED ON 10 STATIONS.
