COMMENT: Solar activity is low, a C1.2 flare from NOAA AR 1260 (Catania
43) peaked at 03:39 UT. More C-class flares can be expected from this
region, Catania 44 (no NOAA number yet) is rotating over the east limb
and producing B-class flares. There was a halo CME detected by CACTUS at
18:00 UT on July 25, this CME is backsided. The fast solar wind stream
is now finishing at Earth with speeds close to 500 km/s. Quiet
conditions are expected for the next 48 hours.
