COMMENT: Quiet solar conditions are expected for the next 48 hours.
There is a minor risk of C-flares from NOAA regions 1247, 1249 and 1250.

A C2.6 flare was observed today, originating from NOAA region 1249 with

peak time at 11:01 UT. An EUV wave and a CME were linked to this event,

which might be geoeffective due to its location near the central
meridian. Velocity information for this CME is currently lacking.
Unsettled to active geomagnetic conditions are expected within the next

24h. A weak shock signature was observed in ACE around 8:00 UT today,
possibly related to the partial halo CME from 00:28 UT on July 9.
Today's CME from NOAA region 1249 might be geoeffective within the next

48 hours or later. A better estimate will be given when the velocity
information is available.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 051, BASED ON 20 STATIONS.
