COMMENT: Solar flaring conditions are quiet, NOAA AR 1236 is still
capable of producing C flares, however the AR has been quiet for a few

days now. Geomagnetic conditions have returned to quiet levels, but the

solar wind speed is still elevated at ~600 km/s. We do not expect any
major disturbances anymore from the CME that erupted on June 21st, which

has most likely passed 1 AU already. A very slow CME was recorded
yesterday June 23 by STEREO/COR2 A and is visible in LASCO data as a
faint, almost partial halo CME. The CME is related to a filament
eruption, visible in SDO 30.4 nm images. Given the very low CME speed of

around 200 km/s and the propagation direction (east of Earth) we do not

expect major geomagnetic consequences from this CME.
