PLAIN
NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 16 Jun 2011 until 18 Jun
2011
PREDICTIONS FOR 16 Jun 2011 10CM FLUX: 104 / AP: 007
PREDICTIONS FOR 17 Jun 2011 10CM FLUX: 106 / AP: 004
PREDICTIONS FOR 18 Jun 2011 10CM FLUX: 106 / AP: 005
COMMENT: Solar activity was low with only a few C flare. However,
active region 11234 experienced some growth over the last 24 hours,
active region 11236 is stable but keeps a potential for an isolated M
flare and a new active region is about to cross the East limb. The
latter already produced 2 C flares and a limb CME early on June 16. We

thus predict eruptive conditions with a growing rate for C flares and a

small chance of an M flare. The high-speed solar wind stream has largely

declined over the last 24 hours (vD0km/s). This led to mostly quiet
geomagnetic conditions that should continue for the rest of the 3-day
period, except for a slight chance of a glancing blow from the East-limb

CME of June 14, which could trigger temporary active conditions on June

17.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 038, BASED ON 10 STATIONS.
