COMMENT: Yesterday June 4th at 20UT a shock occurred in ACE data. This

indicated the arrival of the CMEs that erupted on June 1st and 2nd. The

earth has experienced minor storm conditions during several hours.
Geomagnetic conditions are expected to remain active for several hours

and will return to quieter levels later today. Yesterday June 4th two
halo CMEs were observed by LASCO, one around 8 UT (after a 5-hour data

gap in LASCO) and one around 22 UT. STEREO data indicates that they are

both backsided and originated in an active region that is situated in
the western hemisphere as seen from STEREO-A/EUVI. The second CME made

the proton levels rise, but they remained below the SEP-threshold level.

Triggered by the second CME, a filament erupted this morning around 3
UT, observable in SDO/AIA and in coronagraphic data. This CME is not
heading towards the Earth and thus no geomagnetic consequences are
expected.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 053, BASED ON 07 STATIONS.
