NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 20 Mar 2011 until 22 Mar
2011
PREDICTIONS FOR 20 Mar 2011 10CM FLUX: 089 / AP: 003
PREDICTIONS FOR 21 Mar 2011 10CM FLUX: 090 / AP: 003
PREDICTIONS FOR 22 Mar 2011 10CM FLUX: 093 / AP: 004
COMMENT: Out of three sunspot groups currently observed on the solar
disk (Catania numbers 31, 32, 33; NOAA ARs 1175, 1173, 1174
respectively), only Catania sunspot group 31 may produce an occasional

C-class flare. A returning active region at the south-east limb (NOAA AR

1165 during the previous rotation) may produce a C-flare as well. The
Earth is currently inside a slow (around 350 km/s) solar wind flow with

average (5-6 nT) interplanetary magnetic field magnitude. We expect
quiet geomagnetic conditions.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 021, BASED ON 07 STATIONS.
