COMMENT: Three sunspot groups are reported by Catania today: 30, 31 and

32. Only the Catania sunspot group 32 has a NOAA AR number (1173) at the

moment. The flaring activity of the Sun decreased, and we expect no
major flaring except perhaps an occasional C-class flare (most probably

in the Catania sunspot group 32). A partial halo CME was first seen in

the LASCO C2 field of view at 12:48 UT yesterday. According to
STEREO/SECCHI data, it was originating on the far side of the Sun,
therefore, it will have no geomagnetic consequences. The Earth is
currently inside a slow (around 360 km/s) solar wind flow with average

(5-6 nT) interplanetary magnetic field magnitude. We expect quiet
geomagnetic conditions.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 010, BASED ON 02 STATIONS.
