COMMENT: Flaring activity has gone down now NOAA AR 11164 and 11165
have turned over the solar limb. However, there are still two beta-gamma
regions present on the solar disk and an M1.1 flare was observed
yesterday at 22h41. Another M class event is possible in the coming
period. A second shock in the solar wind parameters was observed around
17h30 UT yesterday evening. The Dourbes K index reached a value of 5
during the night, but has now returned to quiet levels. Unsettled to
quiet geomagnetic activityis expected in the coming hours.
